Unfortunately recurring meetings don’t work well together with the “Prevent double bookings” feature, because of the way that Outlook handles recurring meetings.
As this is a problem in Outlook, it will be time consuming to correct it with Calendar Browser and so far we have prioritized other features and fixes.
However, we want to do something about it in a future version.
We hope this will not cause too much trouble now when you know that the problem exists.
“Prevent double-bookings” is checked.
I make a reservation for Monday, June 30 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.
I then make a recurring reservation for every Monday, beginning June 23 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. for the next five weeks, and get no error message.
When I look at June 30, it is double-booked.
