Folder HelpDesk Add-in

Add-in: Missing Folder HelpDesk add-in / Opening Outlook I get this message: Outlook experienced a serious error the last time the add-in Folder HelpDesk client tools was opened.



These errors typically happens when Outlook was shutdown when the Folder HelpDesk client tool was still performing. It can be solved by removing the add-in from the COM Add-ins and then adding it again.

Outlook 2007: Tools > Options > Trust Center > Add-Ins

Outlook 2010, 2013 and 2016: File > Options >Add-Ins


Remove the ‘Folder HelpDesk Client Tool’ entry from the COM Add-ins dialog.

Restart Outlook.

In the COM Add-Ins dialog, click Add. This will prompt you to browse to a DLL.. Browse to Program Files\bizsolutions365.com/staging\FHD Client Tool and select ‘FHelpdeskClientTool.dll’ .

Restart Outlook.
