Folder HelpDesk Permission error

Permission error: after selecting Outlook folder for the upgrade I get a message about insufficient permission.




There can be two different reasons for this error message:

  • The person who performs the upgrade does not have write permission over the Folder HelpDesk server folder.
  • Other users have Outlook open during the upgrade. Please ask all users to close Outlook before the upgrade. The upgrade process is very quick.
